Well today I was able to have a normal day. After the illness last week, that felt good. I spent some time cleaning then resting on and off all day. I even got Max to do one of my chores for me. 😀 What could be better then that?
The snow is all but melted. However we might get some more later in the week. We will have to see. It is also nice to see that there is a chance (more then 0% at least) that we might have snow for Christmas. That is something that should make Nathaniel VERY happy. He loves everything traditional about all holidays. Not sure where he gets it from but he would LOVE it.
I got my Accountable Kids stuff in the mail today. I guess that means that I have to do something with it now. Ha ha!
I think I am now going to talk a bit more about Flylady.
Every week is a new focus for the house. This week is zone 3 – Bathroom and 1 other room. Then there are daily challenges that you can get either from the Flylady website or from their emails. Today’s challenge was to clean the bathroom counter tops. Then there are daily focuses. Monday is home blessing hour. This is where you spend an hour and dust, vacuum, mop, clean mirrors, purge magazines or catalogs, take out trash, change sheets on beds. Obviously you can’t spend much time on any of these in just one hour so the idea is to be quick about it and whatever you don’t hit today, you will get next week.
The zone is important because you focus on cleaning that room “all the way” during that week.
