Yes it is true. I have been away for a while. I can’t even remember where I was when I left off so I am not even going to try! Bottom line is, I miss this. It is strangely therapeutic so I think I will continue it. I may have video on some days, writing without photos other days but now that I have a working computer (thanks Dad at www.PC-Triage.com) I should be able to continue doing this. This computer was so old I was having issues with it. Now it purrs like a kitten… though I am not one that likes cats, so maybe it snores like a dog??
A few things have changed since I was last here. You may remember that Tony and I were getting licenced to foster. Well that finally came through!! The day we got our license in the mail, we got our first placement. Here ends what I can say about the child. We are licensed for 2 children, one of which being an infant. So my time is often revolving around that. We currently only have one placement (Child A… You may remember I lettered all of my embryos, so might as well letter the placements).
I have also completed 2 quilts. Which I don’t have photos of right now. However I assure you they exist. I have a third quilt ready to be quilted but I have to get to that.
I have also started doing the Flylady system of cleaning. I am not perfect. Far from it. But this does help me A LOT so I do think it is worth mentioning. I will probably be talking about this a lot more in the future. It really has been a game changer for me. I was seriously considering getting a maid when we got our placement, and this has made that really unnecessary. So that is a BIG game changer to me.
I am hoping to start using the Accountable Kids program again with the boys. I started this program way back about a month before I had Nathaniel. Then Pookie was born and out it went. 🙁 I want to bring it back as I know it would help me “fly” better. 😀
What else can I say… Not sure. We just got back from a trip to Florida so my house is anything but “flying” but hey, can’t have everything. I will close this for now but I will be back… really I will!
