I just got this book yesterday. I have thumbed through it and I love the format.
Each day it has:
- A symbol – This is what you would hang on your lenten tree
- A memory verse – something short that even Max can memorize. Some of the days even have 2 so if used for multiple years you can change it up.
- 3 songs to sing – If only I knew all the tunes!
- Then it has a children’s section and an adult section. So everyone can have what fits them best. Both sections have bible verses, devotion, and prayer. The children’s section also has questions to ask the child about the devotion, and occasionally an activity to do with it.
I really think this could really help us get the most out of the Lenten season this year!
