This weekend Nathaniel got baptized. Surprisingly he laughed all the way through it! He started laughing at the pastor, then he was just laughing in general! I doubt that was a first, but I was certainly surprised by it!

Today we started school for Maximillian. He did well with all of the subjects except for math. We know he knows how to count, but he thinks it is funny to randomly tell us numbers. He can tell us what all the numbers are if we show him the numerals but this is something he is being stubborn on. So we are going to REALLY focus on this and see if we can get him counting to 10 soon with regularity.
He says that science was his favorite today.
Nathaniel stats: We haven’t posted these in a while with everyone visiting us the last 2 weeks. However I can tell you that we have not stopped looking at them. We still weigh Nathaniel every morning. Today he was 8 pounds 12.5 ounces. This is up 2 oz from yesterday. He did this last week but we thought that it was just a fluke as the day before it looked like he lost an ounce. So he had a net gain of 1 oz over 2 days. Today we didn’t have that. He was 8 lbs. 10.5 oz yesterday. He is still tiny for a 2 month old, but he is growing. Hopefully this trend will continue so he can “catch up”. Thursday we will have a full head circumference, length and weight check. I have realized with Nathaniel being small, I need to keep a record of this so that we can show that he is growing, should the need arise.
