Max and the groundhog…

This morning I took this photo of the groundhog that keeps coming into our yard. I guess since I had to get up at 5:45 this morning to get to my doctor, that I was awake early enough to see it. I guess there is a giant one also in the neighborhood but this one is the only one that I have seen.

Max went to the dentist today so that means we get to see how much he has grown! Looks like he grew maybe 2 inches. Here is the last post from the last time he was at the dentist. He is getting to be such a big boy!

My OB appointment went well today, but because it was so early, I had to park at the hospital and not where I normally do. Sadly that parking garage brought back memories and not in a good way. Even with Max in the car, I felt like I was going to see Emily again. I was happy to leave when I did. The OB was happy with me but when I mentioned to her that my top number on my blood pressure went up by 2 points every time it has been tested in the last week, she thought it best for me to get a blood pressure check on Friday. So that is what I will do. Thankfully I can do that in a place that I don’t have to pay for parking, though sadly it isn’t close either. Just so you know my top blood pressure number is 122 today so hardly “high” but good for her to make sure I don’t get pre-eclampsia. I will see her again on Monday and get my final instructions before the c-section.
Up until today I didn’t feel “ready” but honestly with Nathaniel right now I feel ready at the moment! Maybe I am just tired. He just feels very heavy today… though I have been running around all day so maybe that is more to do with it then anything.
Tomorrow is a quiet day (YAY!!) and so is Thursday. I will likely update again on Thursday with the 37 weeks stats!
