This weekend and something I forgot on Friday…

This is Max on Friday. He is a very good boy when we go to the doctor, and that is mainly because of the device in front of him. The battery doesn’t like to hang on, and sadly the battery also doesn’t like staying completely charged for the WHOLE movie, but it will give me about 2 hours of him patiently waiting. It is sad, but it is what it is.

Look at the shock we got yesterday! It is all gone now, but it was fun while it lasted!

Yesterday we also went to Buy Buy Baby to test drive more strollers with Max. I needed to get Tony’s opinion and see what he would like. As often happens in these situations I go in there thinking everything was wide open in Tony’s mind, but it wasn’t. I had showed Tony this stroller http://cybex-online.com/us/pushchairs/callisto0.html that goes with this carseat http://youtu.be/l9WDu4_0uts (long video but worth a look see if you have ever struggled putting in a carseat!).
However once we got there I asked Tony some basic questions about what he would like in a travel system. He said he wanted one that worked with the Cybex Aton (second video, of carseat). He loved the instal for that seat. He said he would prefer to have larger wheels (so the Callisto, first link, was out). So we looked at the other options. We found this stroller http://www.babyjogger.com/city_elite_sngl_dtl.aspx . It fit Max well. Has a weight limit (75 lbs) that Fenway could join Max and so could a 2 year old Nathaniel… not sure how that would work but it still wouldn’t exceed the weight limit! It is easy to maneuver you barely feel Max in it. And you can make it into a travel system, get a bassinet for it and even a 6 can cooler! Yeah I am not sure what I would do with a 6 can cooler either, but it is cool accessory! Ha ha! As we have been thinking about it, I even think that it could help me with something that I have been wanting to fix for a while. That is getting Tony time to exercise. This he could take on a light jog with Max around the neighborhood and I could stay home with Nathaniel and make dinner or bond or just recover from a hectic day! Best of all, Tony could loose his baby weight. Ha ha!
