Flannel board…

I have got requests to see this twice in the last month, so here it is. I made this in college as part of an assignment. I also made a multi-textured version of The Very Hungry Caterpillar to go along with this board. Perhaps I will bring that out after the baby is born.

Here it is closed on side A.

Open on side A (notice 2 sides one is gray, and one is brown). This is the fuzzy flannel side.

The whole thing reverses and is more of a normal flannel. Still has one side grey and one side brown.

And closed on side “b”.

I designed this myself and had no pattern for it. It cost me though a sewing machine. I ended up bending the metal plate that is around where the needle goes in. I tried to get the machine repaired after Tony and I got married but sadly they were surprised it worked as well as it did considering the shape it looked like from the outside. It honestly was going to cost me more to fix it then the machine was worth so I went home with my head held low and waited till Tony got me a new machine a few years later.
