I took these first 2 photos this morning right before we went for our walk.
A friend asked if I had a corded phone as hers wasn’t working. So I brought it over and the roads didn’t seem that bad. So I drove to Trader Joes to get some syrup that would be nice. I was shocked that there were not that many people there. However the liqure store that I had to pass to get there was PACKED in the parking lot. Clearly some people have a “different” way of coping with this storm. I was also surprised by how many people were at an auto repair place and Toys R Us.
At 10:55 am on my way home I found our first of our rain. It hasn’t rained since.
These photos I just took. As you can see the skies don’t look much different. It is humid outside. It feel like you can just stick the air with a pin and it would pop a ton of rain. I would call the current winds light and variable.
This is my best attempt at photographing a GIANT spider web. This goes from a line to our house, to our roof line, and down to the ground. If you click on the photo it will blow up for you. The web is located straight up from the shutter and sort of looks like a light X. That spider is going to go on a wild ride!
