This and that…

Well tomorrow is my last day of radiation. Thank goodness too because it is really messing with the dynamic of the family. Max is clingy and Tony goes to work tired everyday. It will be a lot easier when I don’t have to leave at 5:30 every morning.

I have been told that I will have a scan in about a month, and I will need to meet with the radiation oncologist about that same time. I am meeting with my hematological oncologist on Aug. 11 (the 4 year anniversary of losing Alexander… hard to believe it was that long ago). After that I think we will be finally able to take a very well deserved vacation! I know we all need that!

Fenway is doing well in settling into our family. We didn’t crate train him for the first few nights but now that we have consistently done that, and moved him into our room,he is doing MUCH better at night. However yesterday he got immunizations and that has made him a bit sick, but I think he is on the mend now.

Max is understanding Fenway more and more and is starting (though this is a slow process I am afraid) that he can’t be VERY rough with Fenway. So we don’t leave them alone together to make sure no one gets hurt.

My grandmother asked how my garden was growing. It is growing well so I thought I would share!

Cucumber  Peas  Look closely in the center it is a pepper. Green bean.

This weekend we are going to start Max on Bathroom Training. I am doing a 3 day intensive training with him and hopefully he will catch on rather quickly. We will be starting on Sunday after church. My little boy is growing up so fast!! The main reason why I am starting this now is he is such a big boy that he is outgrowing his diapers and I don’t see the point in purchasing diapers for a few months use. I will keep everyone posted on this progress.

Well that is all for now. Sorry no photo’s of Max this time. I hope to post some photos later in the week.

  1. Hi Jennifer,
I’m dying to hear how the potty training is going? Do you just keep him outside and nakey all day?

Your new puppy is so cute!!!! I wish we could get one but we don’t have the yard for it. Is his fur easy to care for or does he need lots of brushing? He looks very cuddly.

    Love, L
