17 weeks 5 days

Well I don’t really have much to say in this update. However I thought I should say something.

This weekend Tony inspired me and I made pasta and sauce. The sauce was really good, spicy and most importantly easy. I used a pound of Bratworst (don’t ask why I wanted that sausage, it just looked good at the time), an onion and sauteed it in a pan till cooked. I then added about 5 cloves of garlic (the garlic was small though) that I put through the garlic press. I then added a small can of tomato paste. Cooked that a bit in my chicken fryer (all purpose pan to me). I then took a can of diced tomato’s with garlic and poured some of the juice into the pan to lightly deglace it. Then we poured that whole thing into a crockpot. I added the diced tomatoes, a can of diced tomatoes with chilies, 2 cans of tomato sauce, and a package of spegettii sauce mix and a bit of water (think I will omit the water next time). I also added 2 small cans of mushrooms, and a normal size can of black olives (chopped). Then I added dried parsley, oregano, and some Tony Chanceris (that could be spelled wrong). I simmered that all for about 4 hours on low. Turned out really good.

Tonight I am making chicken wings. I made those last week and Tony loved them. So I am making them again tonight.

Tony is talking a lot more to junior. I can’t wait till I can call the baby Max or Lizzie. I tease him that he likes junior more then he likes me. He is constantly asking how junior is and if he/she kicked me today, and how much. Junior is fairly active so I think it is good that I don’t have twins. Ha ha!

I have been researching baby products for the stuff we don’t have. We don’t really need that much but I like to make sure I like what we will get. I think I have done about all I can online and now I just need to go to the store and look at things.

Well that is about all I know for now. I will be going to the OB on Monday so I will get to hear junior’s heartrate then. Hopefully I will also get my scheduled c-section date that day too.

Talk to you Monday!
Jennifer
